Anyone got a good way of running Whisper as a CLI tool on a Mac? Ideally without having to compile something first I usually use MacWhisper but I have 20 MP3s to process so I'd rather use the terminal

Realized I've reached the point now with GitHub Copilot autocomplete where I can often guess exactly what it's going to suggest, pause for a moment to wait for it to make the suggestion and accept it and move on It's majority a typing assistant now and I really like it for that

Phi-3 is out - I just got the 4,000 token context model running using llamafile from the instructions in their README huggingface.co/micro… They have a 128,000 model too! It's not available as a GGUF yet
